What is the Scar Fillers Procedure?

Treatment Process
- Scar fillers procedure is applied session by session. Sessions can be continued untill all scars are completely flattened.
- Depending on the number, width and depth of the scars, a scar fillers session can last up to 3 hours.
- Scar fillers procedure is not painful procedure; the pain felt during the procedure is usually 3-4-5 out of 10.
- The redness and edema that occurs on the face after the procedure usually goes away after 10 – 14 days; rarely, can last up to 28 days.
- The quality of the results varies depending on the type, extent and depth of the scars.
- Scar fillers procedure can e applied in spring, summer, autumn or winter.
- Antibiotic cream and sunscreen cream should be applied to the face for at least 1 week after the procedure.
- The expected permanence of hyaluronic acid on the face is at least 24 months. This period may decrease depending on autoimmune diseases, medications, etc.
- After 2 years, scars may return to their previous state or remain in better result.
- The results achieved with 1, 2 or more sessions at 15-30 day intervals can be maintained with minor sessions every 18-24 months.
